Summer Storms
This week we got not one, but two intense storms. On Monday we had lovely soaking rain all day, Followed by a crazy thunder storm the very next day! It was an amazing blessing to finally get the rain we so desperately needed. Here’s hoping this fall will help us repair from this crazy summer drought
Right now we are focusing on getting ready for the Mystic garlic festival. So far we have two out of three varieties all prepared and ready for the festival, with enough set aside for planting this fall without buying new seed! I am so excited for the festival and cannot wait to share all of the cool garlic we have been growing and tending to all year with everyone!
Fall is fast approaching and it really is my favorite time of the year. There are so many tasty fall crops that I love to use every day. From crunchy radishes, to spicy arugula and leek and potato soup fall has some truly fantastic flavors to offer.
See you on Friday!
