Blue Skies

This past week we finally got some good rain! Although we are still technically in a drought the rain storm we got made a big difference in reliving the pressure the farm has been under. And there is more rain on the forecast for next week, which makes this farmer's heart very happy.

One of the things we do in august is prep for fall. I know it sounds crazy when the temp is well over 80 degrees, but now is the time we start getting ready for fall and winter. Right now we are carefully planning all the veggies, greens, herbs, and flowers that will be growing here on the farm well into January.

I am very happy to say that this September we will be at the Olde Mystick Village Garlic Festival! I have always loved the garlic festival and am so excited to be able to be there as a vendor this year! i will make sure to share more details as they come.

See you on Friday!
