Big Things Coming

I am excited to announce that starting this week the “Blooms and Greens Spring CSA” shares are available! Starting the second week of April for six weeks, each week shares will get, a bouquet of heirloom fragrant narcissus, 1/2# of salad greens, and a specialty item to go with your salad! You can get your share in the online store here on this website! Spring is a magical time of year on the farm, full of bright colors, fresh flavors, and excitement for warm weather after a cold winter and I can’t wait to share the very beginning of the season with you.

This week we have a surprise item, rhubarb! Normally rhubarb is a spring favorite, but this year the rhubarb has been going for broke and has some amazing stalks. You can use it just like you would in the spring, in jam or pie. But it is also excellent in pound cake, scones or mixed with peaches as an ice cream topping!

With fall practically here I am already planning and getting excited for next summer. Let me know what your favorites have been this season and if there is something you would like to see more of next year! Your feed back helps me make sure you can have all your favorite veggies next season
