Happy Mother’s Day

Happy mother’s day! I hope you all have a relaxing week and enjoy some time with your families. If you are still looking for something for the mom in your life, we will have plenty of extra bouquets for sale at the Friday farm stand.

This spring i have been enjoying the results of many years of patience. About eight years ago I brought home some suckers from a friend's beautiful lilac bush. At the time the plants were only two or three inches tall, now they are a whole five feet tall. This is the first year that they have bloomed and i am soaking in their wonderful scent, and hoping that next spring they will be plenty big enough to add to bouquets.

This week we will also have ramps available for sale! Ramps have a very short window when they are in season, so make sure to grab a bunch while they last!
